McGowan has infused over two miles of fiber optic cable into this sculpture 
- with over 1200 individual points of light radiating its mesmerizing beauty. 
In doing so, he's created the first water sculpture of its kind, a waterfall of infinitely changing light. 
The artist has the ability to create a mood in the setting by changing the light intensity and color scheme 
of the sculpture to suit the buyer's environment. Additional disks of variations of color schemes are available.

Artist's Comments:
Aurora Borealis is inspired by a moment in my youth. 
When looking into the star-lit night, I was astonished by the colors
of light flickering across the heavens as far as the eye could see, 
not yet realizing I was looking at one of our world's true wonders, the "Aurora Borealis." 
At that point in time, I knew the world we lived in was a very special place that held many 
mysteries and that her beauty was all around us if we'd only take the time to seek it.
I dream that through my art I can make the world a better place!
